Tackboards - A little bit outside the box

We have probably all used wall or panel hung tackboards on projects in the past and this has been a staple part of our product line for a number of years. We use a high quality 'balanced' core that reisists warping and allows for secure attachment of a wide variety of mounts to suit almost any need. From time to time, we have the opporunity to work on applications that are just a bit outside of the box. Here are a few we would like to share with you.

We have worked on a number of projects where we were asked to develope and provide tackboards that would mount above and below a factory rail tile. The factory rail tiles were either not compatible with tackboards in this arrangement or would not mount flush with the tackbaords. Here is an example of a factory rail tile with mounts produced by Interiors Interface Inc along with tackboards that mount above and below the tile. Note that all tackboards mount with the faces flush to the rail tile for a clean appearance.

Panel tiles have been in the mainstream for a number of years now. Here is an example of wall mounted tackboards that provide a similar look. The tackboards can be mounted tight with no gaps or mounted with gaps between each tackboard to provide shadow lines.

Tackboards for a curved wall? Yes it is possible. Here is an example of one tackboard that was produced to fit a curved wall with a 50' radius. Each tackboard is produced with the approxiamte radius of the wall on which it is to be mounted but still has some flex to provide the board to adapt to the actual conditions on site.

So, next time you need tackable surfaces on your project, think just 'a bit outside the box' and call Interiors Interface Inc.

Be Creative

In the past much of the top product built by Interiors Interface Inc. was to replicate existing product. Uses ranged from adding to an existing product base to an updated image using finishes not avialable from the big guys. Today we are getting an increasing number of requests for surfaces in sizes and shapes not available from the big guys. These uses range from solving a unique customer probelm, more effecrtive use of an existing product base or simply being creative to set a proposed solution apart from the competition. Interiors Interface Inc. has inhouse CADD and CNC capabilities to make those ideas come to reality. So, next time you want to set yourslf apart from the competition,

Interiors Interface Blog introduction

Welcome to the Interiors Interface Inc. Blog. Each month we will add something that we hope will be of interest and potentially help you win more business. Visit us monthly to see what's up! This month is about Valley Desgn's new product offering.

What's new this month

Take a minute to look at Valley Design's new 'Flip' base offereing. The mechanism is acuated by a single point making the operation of the flip top mechanism quick and easy. Add concealed castors to the base at one end of your tables and you now have a table that is both very easy to move and will store in a small footprint.

Why Genu-Flip?
  1. Access latch from either end of the top for a quick flip and roll.
  2. Compact nesting minimizes storage space to only 4 3/8" per table.
  3. Design allows plenty of room for electrical components.
